Patches are available within 24 hours of release on the USSG FTP server.

The USSG recommends perusing security sites and email forums to keep up to date on the state of your software. When patches become available and are recommended for your system(s), you should be able to find them here within 24 hours of the patch release.

The Unix Systems Support Group (aka USSG) is a subunit of the Research Computing (RC) division of University Information Technology Services (UITS).
The USSG provides software, support, and resources to faculty, staff, and students at Indiana University who use or administer Unix/Linux workstations or servers.
