7. Viewing System Information

7.3.1 Who's logged on the system now? who

The who command prints a list of users who are currently logged on, including user id, tty, time of login, and the machine from which they signed on.

The who command output looks like this: 

myrtlear   pts/0        Jun  7 09:45    (mouseless.com)
harveyhi   pts/2        Jun 21 14:15    (nirvana)
